Change The Icon Spacing On Your Desktop

Hey

If you use your desktop a lot you usually end up with a lot of files and shortcuts scattered about the place. You may run out of room quickly but there is a new option that has been implemented in the new Leopard build to enable you to change the spacing between the icons.

If you right click on the desktop and select “Show View Options” a new menu will appear. This is used to organise the size and spacing of the icons.

If you reduce the grid spacing your icons will be closer together. As a result you can fit more on your screen. This is great for anyone that tends to run out of room quickly. There is a problem if you reduce it all the way as the text disappears.
