Folder Tint

Hey

This is a cool little application that can change the appearance of your folder icons quickly and easily. Its called Folder Tint and it is designed to run with the Core Animation engine to enable you to change the effects of folders within your system.

It runs pretty quick and you can do a lot of cool little changes. For example it has an interface which enables you to select the type of icons you want to change. These include the “main” types such as the generic folder icon all the way through to the Applications folder icon, the Shared folder icon etc. You can change the colours to pretty much anything you want. Different icons can have different colours, this enables you to give certain folders a high warning, for example.
It is a pretty neat applications, it is free which makes it even better. Try to see what you can do. You can of course hit the reset button if you screw anything up.
