As part of my monthly round up I am going to post about what has happened in the last month and what I am going to do in the next month. Its just to let you no what has been happening and what I plan to do.

February

February was a busy month. I redesigned this blog and launched it again. Over the 29 days it has grown from strength to strength. Some of the highlights were being on the front page of Digg. That was one of the biggest boosts that got this blog going. Over the couple of days I was on Digg I had over 100,000 visitors. A really big kick start. I would really like to thank every one who Dugg it to get it to the front page. I think it took over 180 to get there.

Of course with more visitors means more posting. As a result I am trying to get at least one post out a day. Although I usually strive for 2. I am trying to range the difficulty and simplicity of each of the posts. Although the really advance ones are cool they are hard to find and write. The easier ones such as the noob’s guides are easier to write but are boring for experienced users. I am trying to find that balence. Your comments on this would be appreciated.

With more visitors means more RSS subscribers. I really like RSS. Its just a simple way to get all the latest news. I have been pushing my RSS more than I have on my other sites as a result this has grown considerably. I would have never thourght I would get this many in such a short time. With over 1000 readers its a personal record. As a thank you I am trying to organise some special deals for RSS only subscribers. Its going to be good. If you don’t subscribe I suggest you do. You get all of the latest offerings in your inbox.

As this site has grown there have been some small changes to the site. On the same note of RSS I have added it in the address bar. Just a small change but it makes it even easier for people to subscribe. Other small changes include moving the Digg button around. A small change.

One of the biggest change is custom advertising. To generate a bit of extra revenue I have added advertising in the sidebar. This is slightly different from Google Adsense advertising as it stays on the site at all times and is a fixed price. The one advertiser who has both of the World of Warcraft slots is very pleased. March

Looking into March I am going to do better and longer posts. I want to make this website as good as possible. This of course is going to be done through more content. If you want to see a tip on this site you can always email me. If your tip is good and simple i’ll put it on the site. As I previously said I am trying to get some RSS bonus’ to reward my regular visitors. Hopefully this should be a discount or a free product.
