Live Coverage of iPhone SDK Event

Hey

Today is big news for any iPhone fans out there. Apple is today having an event to the road map of the SDK (Software Development Kit) for the iPhone. These seems a long time coming and as a result is big news for any developers or iPhone owners.

Apple has promised “some exciting new enterprise features” although many people aren’t so sure. Many think that Apple wont be able to live up to the hype and standard they promised. I don’t really mind. Some SDK is better than no SDK, many people are just pessimistic.

Event though there has not been anything released yet a couple of companies are already promoting the fact that they will have applications for the iPhone. MySpace and SlingMedia have been rumored in have an unreleased dev kit. Hopefully they will bring out a couple of good applications. We will see soon, it could just be a rumor.

If you want to check out live coverage I definitely recommend heading over to Engadget. From personal experience they offered the best text and picture based feed. Header over and see what they have to say. The event starts at 10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern. I think it is 6pm GMT although I am not 100% sure.
