Continuing on from a post a couple of days ago it seems that MacUpdate, have released there spring software bundle. Which means great software for a cheap price. This pack is a biggy as it includes the amazing piece of software Parallels.

This pack contains, Hazel, create rules to automatically sort and organize your files. Art Text, create high quality headings. logos, banners and buttons. MenuCalendearClock, iCal compatible menu-bar calender. Leap, advance file browsing and tagging. StoryMill, creative writing to to outline, write and publish a novel. Typinator, type commom phrases and pictures. DVDRemasterPro, recompress DVD’s for use on iPods and other Apple hardware. Sound Studio, record and edit audio. Banner Zest, create animates flash banners and Parallels, PC virtualization to enable you to run Windows and other operating systems.

MacUpdates software works in a very similar way to MacHesit meaning that you get great software at a low price. But it includes one big twist. Some piece of software are unlocked only after a certain number of purchases have been made. It encourages more sales. The programs that are locked include, Sound Studio, Banner Zest and Parallels.

Currently 4,500 sales are needed to unlock sound studio, and then a couple more thousand to unlock the other two. You do (if you purchase early) get the other software when it is unlocked. Meaning you should buy early to avoid losing out.

This package is priced higher at $64.99, although you do get better software than MacHeist (in my opinion). You should purchase as soon as possible if you are planning on getting this package so you can unlock the final product. There is no point in waiting as it might disappear.
