		<description>Something you might want to check out for a future post is undervolting.  Lowering the amount of power the processor draws from the battery.  It can lower running temp, increase battery life, and potentially make the thing run faster by not running as hot.</description>

		<description>Like you, I also found the CPU.menu item. However, I didn&#039;t have any problems with it.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Unfortunately, this doesn&#039;t really work on a Feb 2008 MBP. While I can disable a core, when I do, simple tasks such as moving my mouse become unbearably slow. So, it really isn&#039;t practical.
