Is there any way to have Textmate Bundles in Coda? I love Zen coding, which is included but what about ZEN HTML, and ZEN CSS?

Thanks.

FAO Ryan re: CakePHP setup in Coda:

* Open up the Preferences in Coda
* Click on the "Editor" tab
* Look for the "Custom Syntax Modes" at the bottom
* Click the "+" icon beneath the "Custom Syntax Modes" list
* Enter "ctp" in the "File Extension" input box
* Select "PHP-HTML" as the "Syntax Mode"
* Click "OK"

Your .ctp files will now be recognized by Coda as CakePHP files :)

I have been struggling to find out how to set the file kind in Coda. I'm programming in CakePHP and so my files are titled home.ctp. Coda says these named files are a unix executable file and they also are not globally searched. Any advice on how to change this?

I'd love to see a way to easily comment out a block or text.

Also, I'd love to see a way to easily indent multiple lines at once, together.

those are two features I'm not seeing available yet.

great list though, thank!

Great list, thanks so much! I'm just digging into Coda myself, considering switching from BBEdit. One thing I miss so far is the ability to jump to a specific line number like I could in BBEdit with a Cmd + J shortcut.

Does Coda have a feature like this? Can't find it if so...

We really like the code sharing feature. You can share your currently open file with another local network user over bonjour.

Just click share and invite the other user. If they have Coda running then they will see your shared file. Any changes you or the other developer make will be highlighted on both screens and updated immediately.

Perfect for pair programming!

These are really great! But what I'd like to know, is how to customize the Terminal color profile in Coda... I've got my terminal pimped to use Tom Werth's "ir_black" color profile, and I'd like Coda to use that, too.

Thanks for the tips. I've recently started using coda having mainly used Editplus on the PC. Coda has been struggling to compare to it, but the clips feature has really helped to make it nearly as good, but not quite just yet, but it is early days for me. So maybe I'll find out other features that I'm after - anyone know if Coda has an autocomplete feature?

TIP: To comment out multiple lines or a big block of code, just select it all and click press command + /

I've tried using Coda many times, but I always end up going back to Dreamweaver because of the little details that Coda doesn't have and that just kill my productivity.

Having said that, whenever I have to use it, I always install this little plugin: Tabster (make a Google search for "tabster for coda"). It allows you to indent a block of text without erasing it and it makes a big difference.

If you have really big file with code (e.g. PHP) and during writing suddenly you'd like to check something at the beginning of this file - than it would be perfect to mark actual line with some "marker", go to beginning of file... do checks you want etc. and than jump to marked line :-) I know such solution from Pspad editor (win).
The question - does Coda have such line-code-bookmarks feature?
