Video: Enable Text Selection Within Quicklook

Hey,

The MacTricksAndTip Channel has published a new video. Today’s video is on enabling text selection within Quicklook. This goes back to a list of tips I published a while ago on Finder Hacks and Tips. It allows you to use Quick Look to quickly open a file and select text, this means you don’t have to open the file within the text editor. Its a great way of speeding up your work flow, since you don’t have to open the file.

You can subscribe to the youtube channel for the latest videos. Alternatively you can get the latest videos on Facebook or Twitter.

Enabling Text Selection Within Quicklook

To enable text selection, you open terminal write a command and restart Finder. The video is 3 minutes long, although it really won’t take that long to implement the trick.
