

This section of the downloads page is all about widgets. Widgets are small applications that run within the Dashboard interface. You need tiger or Leopard to run widgets. Simply download the widget below. Unzip it and download click the widget. It should then run and load its self into your dashboard for future use. My widget will be updated every so often so subscribe to the posts so you don't miss the latest news and updates.
The Mac Tricks And Tips widget pulls the latest tips, tricks and hacks from mactricksandtips.com. This widget has been highly modified from the original widget. It offers a whole new design in keeping with the current site. As well as this it boasts a couple of new features. It offers a slide to change the article length, automatic updates so you can have the latest widget on your dashboard. The ability to shrink the widget down to save space. This new design is more feature packed and better than the previous version.

It contains the current 5 posts which you can read. The posts contains all of the images, links to the comments plus much more. It is fast to run and very small.

The second tutorial in the Quartz Composer series. This time it is taking a video input and applying a composition effect. You can use both a video from an iSight camera or a general image. Great fun to play with and shows how powerful Quartz Composer really can be.
This is the first tutorial done by myself in Quartz Composer. It details how to insert an image into Quartz Composer, set all of the settings so the image is duplicated. It then goes on to detail in reflecting the image and applying the gradient.
This file is designed for people who may have got a bit stuck in the tutorial and want to find out how to do a certain step. This actual file is inside a zip folder to save on bandwidth.
