Its the beginning of the month, this means I will have a couple of advertiser joining this site. This time round I would like to welcome Accountz. This is an accounting application that you can use to keep track of all of your finance needs. I haven’t yet tried this app out, but has been featured in MacWorld so it is probably a decent app.
Last night should have been something really enjoyable for this site. I was featured on Digg. I should have been enjoying the large amount of traffic and clicks on my advertisers adverts. But sadly all was not to be enjoyed. I suffered the dreaded downtime. Until last night I had 3 months of perfect uptime. This post is to say sorry if you tried to access the site and you found it was down.
If you are a follower of my Twitter feed, I have mentioned iLoveMacApps a couple of times. This new website is all about Mac applications. Since Mac apps are a big part of the Mac community, there is hundreds of great applications out there I decided that it would be a good idea to dedicate a site towards them.
New advertising sponsors seem to becoming thick and fast on MacTricksAndTips. This is good for the site since I can continue to support the hosting and bandwidth costs, as well as pay for food to keep me fueled. Anyway, I would like to welcome ActionGear, they offer a Mac program designed as a light weight task management system. It is like to-dos in Mail but on steroids. ActionGear and myself are trying to organise a giveaway for a couple of licenses of this product. That should be appearing in the next couple of days.
I would like to mention, once again, a new sponsor has joined the ranks of MacTricksAndTips. This new sponsor is FixTunes. They offer a cool little program which can go through your iTunes library and fix your iTunes songs so that they have the right track name, album etc. Its a good little program that you can use to get your library correct. I will hopefully have a competition up soon where you can win a free copy of this program.
Over the last couple of weeks and days I have been mentioning that I am going to University. Being a big part of my life for the next couple of months, before I settle down, it means this website is going to have to take a back seat. As a result starting Monday, i’m afraid, the post output will be down. I will be less likely to do Top 100 lists, since I should be working. All is not lost mind you.
